White Horse Ranch visits Sunrise Rotary Club

Dick Kroese

Russell True, one of the owners of the White Stallion Ranch that has been in the family since 1965, spoke at Rotary on August 23. It is a dude ranch that is forty minutes away from SaddleBrooke. If you like horses and like to ride, it is a great place to enjoy horses and all other things the Ranch has to offer. It has been voted one of America’s top ten best family resorts of 2018 by readers of USA Today. It features 43 guest rooms and a four-bedroom hacienda and amenities including a pool and spa. When the True family bought the ranch it had 17 horses and today 170 horses. The ranch has been around as a ranch since about 1900 and a dude ranch since 1945. All of the guest rooms have western furniture, great western art and even cowboy statues. Something that you will not find in any of the rooms is a television. You have the opportunity during your stay to ride two to four times a day. There is always something to do at the ranch. One of the additional perks is that there is something for all ages.

Yes, the White Stallion Ranch is a great place to visit and will give you a feel of the past but is alive in our hearts today.
