The Silver Belles, performing an hour long program at Friendship Village, called on two amazing men to help entertain the residents.
Silver Belles are known for their many costume changes and, in between those changes, Lloyd Maritz regaled with a hilarious tongue twister Erbie Fitch’s Twitch and reprised his soliloquy I Wish I Were 18 Again, first performed at the 2014 SaddleBrooke Variety Show. Several dances later, Sam Page sang Right Field and Man in the Looking Glass, played his harmonica and led a sing along to You Are My Sunshine.
The following day we did it all again for the folks at Atria Compana del Rio. After both performances we mingled with audience members and heard how much they enjoyed and appreciated our entertaining them; we in turn thanked them for inviting us. It’s always a pleasure to dance for those in senior communities or assisted living facilities.
If you would like us to perform at your venue, please contact Caryl Mobley at 520-825-6933 or 630-698-2232. We can be booked for holiday functions, birthday parties or unit get-togethers. Because we enjoy entertaining, we do not charge for performances. We do, however, happily accept donations to help cover gas and other expenses.
