Oracle Piano Society to celebrate holidays with music, arts and games

Mark Freshwater

Continuing with its mission to provide cultural enrichment and musical experiences for young and old, a special event is to be held on December 19 at the new Oracle Center for the Arts from 2:00-5:00 p.m. Come celebrate the season while enjoying music, art, festivities and refreshments. This event, its third since October, follows on the heels of a successful fundraising concert and auction on November 15 at the Center with a performance by classical pianist Dr. John Milbauer.

On December 19, students and teachers alike will share in the music making along with several artist tables and snacks. There might even be an appearance from the white bearded guy from way up north – a fun and entertaining afternoon for all. The Center is located at 700 E. Kingston St. in Oracle. General admission is $10, children 6-12 $5 and 5 and under are free (bring a can of food for the local food bank and get a $1 off your ticket price).

The organization continues to seek donations to meet its financial goal by Mid-January to complete the purchase of the former Masonic Lodge facility at 700 E. Kingston Ave in Oracle. All donations are fully tax deductible as the Oracle Piano Society is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations can be made at the website www.oraclepianosociety.org or at www.GoFundMe.com/oracleartscenter. For additional questions or to purchase tickets in advance call 623-295-9677. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event.
