Hello, Gals! Back for the winter and spring? Join the Nani Loa Kupuna Hula Halau! What is that you ask? It is the name of our SaddleBrooke Hawaiian Hula Group, founded in 2006 and going strong ever since. Students come and students go, but the ones that stay have a lot of fun! Auana Hula (Modern) is not only enjoyable, but it is easy exercise. Students have had hip replacements and knee replacements, but can still dance the hula. Students who have been with the group from its inception know 12 dances. Students that join now will slowly learn as the others did. We practice year round at the HOA One Fitness Center’s Aerobics Room. Intermediate classes are held from 12:45-1:30 p.m. and the Beginners class is from 1:30-2:15 p.m. We dance for parties, luaus, senior centers and anytime anyone wants hula entertainment. You are not required to dance for any event. If you are interested please call Glenda Fredricks at 818-9525 for more information or drop in some Monday!
