Another month of events has come to an end.
Thank you, Steve and Sandy Rosen, for hosting a lovely BreakFast. The food was delicious, and the conversations were interesting and spirited. A shout-out to Eileen Zelmanow for her beautiful platters. Lox never looked so good.
By the time you read this, our “Trip to Italy” potluck will be over, and I will have recently woken from my food coma. Thank you, everyone, for your contributions to this always-fun event. Bravo to all the chefs.
If you missed these occasions, you have more opportunities in the coming months.
Nov. 21 Men’s Dinner. We’ve changed from lunch to dinner in the Agave Room in SaddleBrooke One. The dinner is planned for the third Thursday of the month, so mark your calendar and contact Steve Rosen at [email protected] to RSVP and for further information.
Tuesday, Dec. 17, Chanukah Dinner Party/Charity Event. Please come out for this important cause benefiting hospitalized children. Just bring your appetite and an unwrapped gift or gift card, and we’ll do the rest. The party will be at 5 p.m. in the SaddleBrooke One Vistas Room.
January Trivia and Pizza Night. Date TBD at the RoadRunner Grill at SaddleBrooke One. You know how the answer is always on the tip of your tongue? Join the rest of us when we try to remember long-lost facts and swear we would have known the answer with a little more time.
February Meet & Greet. 4 p.m. We encourage anyone interested to attend. Current members will be there to answer questions and welcome you. Yes, of course, there will be food and drinks.
March Purim Party. We’re still working on where and when, but if last year was any indication, the “why” is to have silly fun!
April Passover Seder. As always, we will be celebrating this holiday together. We are working on the final details.
If you are a member, please join us for our monthly activities. We are stronger together. If you are not a member, we hope you consider joining. As a strictly social group, we are not affiliated with any religious organization. Our goal is to create a community where friendships are made, memories are shared, and no one feels alone. We look forward to welcoming you. For additional information or questions about these events or the Jewish Friendship Group, please reach out to either of our co-presidents, Sandy Rosen at [email protected] or Eileen Zelmanow at [email protected].
