Ghosts and goblins – Boo!

Best pumpkin goes to the Double D’s, Dorothy Wood and Diana Carbone.

Best costume went to Shirley Miller as a scarecrow.

Ghosts and goblins. Witches and wizards. They were all present at the SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club’s annual Halloween party. More than 40 of the club’s members celebrated Halloween with food, fun and, of course, dance. We enjoyed dressing up in our favorite Halloween costumes. Our creativity was on display, each hoping to be named best costume. But that honor could be achieved by only one and that was to be Shirley Miller. The creative juices were flowing in the pumpkin carving arena as well. The results were most entertaining but only one team could win. That was the Double D’s – Dorothy Wood and Diana Carbone.

A lunch of pizza, salad and soft drinks was served but the highlight of the party, as usual with the SBLDC, was the line dancing. Some of our most enthusiastic dancers were our newcomers who have been attending our Newcomer Lessons this fall. If you think you would enjoy being a line dancer, check out our website at www.sbldc.weebly.com. If you like to dance, have fun and form new friendships, the SBLDC is for you and membership is only $10 a year.
