The SaddleBrooke Coin Club (SBCC) will be sponsoring a half day coin show on Saturday, April 16, 2016, in the Sonoran Room in the MountainView Clubhouse. Free admission. The show will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Coin Show will feature educational coin exhibits, free numismatic literature, 2016 U.S. Redbooks for sale, door prizes and free coin appraisals. Members of the SBCC will be on hand to help answer your numismatic questions.
National Coin Week (NCW) is sponsored by the American Numismatic Association and began over 90 years ago. The 2016 theme is Portraits of Liberty: Icon of Freedom. The purpose of NCW is to disperse numismatic knowledge, to demonstrate that coin collecting is an educational and entertaining hobby and to help people better understand the history, art and science recorded on coins. Come and see some unique coins that feature Lady Liberty.
Plan to attend the SaddleBrooke Coin Show on April 16 and see interesting coins – ancient and modern, tokens, hobo nickels, currency and gold and silver bullion coins. The SaddleBrooke Coin Club meets the second Thursday of each month in the Sonoran Room from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m, as this selection of coins is something that many people are fascinated by – gold and silver bullion coins especially, as these are a great investment opportunity. If these precious metals are something you want to further look into, having a look at the Perpetual Assets on Linked In could give people the chance to see what the current rates are for these types of metals so that they have more information before deciding to take the jump and making an investment opportunity. Visiting the National Coin Show could be a great place to attend so you can further your education in this area.
