Members of Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge No. 2815 met at the Golder Ranch Fire District training center on November 23 and stuffed 310 bags with Thanksgiving food items for distribution to underprivileged families by IMPACT of Southern Arizona. The food is purchased with donations from various community organizations as well as donations from super markets. The Lodge supports this worthy endeavor every year and donates to the food bank on a regular basis.

Catalina Mountain Elks Lodge and Impact SoAZ were both established in 2000 and provide support and aid to the community. Impact operates as a food and clothing bank, senior center and offers youth programs and community education for families and seniors in need in northwest Tucson, southeast Pinal County, Catalina, Oro Valley, SaddleBrooke, Vail and surrounding communities.
