Adult Loss of Hearing Association (ALOHA) meeting in Oro Valley will take place Thursday, October 19 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at Santa Catalina Catholic Church, 14380 N. Oracle Road, Oro Valley, Arizona.
Please join us as we begin a new season of presentations and meetings to be held on the third Thursday each month from October through May.
Thursday, October 19 — Arizona Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Commissioner Elizabeth Booth presents You are not Alone. With humor and compassion, Liz shares her stories of hearing loss and suggests coping strategies to help us in difficult listening situations.
Thursday, November 16 – Judy Lynn, head of Emergency Management for the State of Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs, will speak with us about emergencies in relation to hearing loss.
Thursday, December 21 — Support group format, plus Holiday Tips for Better Hearing; refreshments. Celebrate the holidays with us!
Thursday, January 18 — Greg Swingle, Audiologist from Arizona Hearing Specialists, will speak on the technological aspect of hearing better.
