Now that the weather is warming up, it is the perfect time to try Water Tai Chi. Imagine beginning your day with this gentle, relaxing water exercise while overlooking the beautiful mountains of SaddleBrooke!
Water Tai Chi is based on the same principles and fundamental techniques as regular Tai Chi – relaxation, breathing, mental concentration and slow continuous movement with attention to body alignment and balance. Working in water provides support for the entire body while offering gentle resistance as you move through the exercises. If you are seeking to improve your strength, balance, coordination and mental focus (not to mention relaxation and peace of mind), Water Tai Chi may be for you.
The class was designed by black belts Ken and Carol Emerson who have been teaching Tai Chi in SaddleBrooke for many years. It is based on the Yang style Tai Chi form and consists of powerful, simple and beautiful moves and sets of moves that can be easily learned.
Join us on Thursdays, from 9:00 to 9:45 a.m. at the MountainView pool at SaddleBrooke Two. $10 per class or six classes for $54. For more information or to register, please call Ken or Carol at 825-9206. Space is limited so early registration is recommended.
