The SaddleBrooke Woodworkers Club continues to grow. We are preparing for a series of woodworking classes in 2025 to educate both our members and non-members. These classes provide valuable information about all facets of woodworking, from design, materials, assembly, machinery, and finishing.
Here are two upcoming classes that will introduce many of you to woodworking. The instructor for these classes will be Donn Hamm. He was a shop teacher for many years. The classes will be at his home at 37245 S. Pinewood Drive in SaddleBrooke.
• WW101 (Jan. 8, 2025, at 10 a.m.) This first basic class will focus on surfacing, squaring, marking/scribing, basic joinery, and assembly.
• WW201 (Jan. 22, 2025, at 10 a.m.) In this second class, Donn will demonstrate advanced joinery, carcass construction, drawer construction, raised panels, and final assembly.
These essential classes are the beginning building blocks to basic woodworking. Please join us in these classes to learn from an exceptional woodworking teacher. Email us at [email protected] if you plan to attend.
The SaddleBrooke Woodworkers Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. in the Saguaro Room at the SaddleBrooke TWO MountainView Center.
