Wellness Integrated Network: Are You Looking for Other Options?

Dr. Joe Tilchen, ND

Barbara Barr Bengen

Join the Wellness Integrated Network (WIN) on Friday, Oct. 4, at 2 p.m. in the DesertView Performing Arts Center to learn about other options. Whether you have acute or chronic pain, concussion or brain injury, sports injuries, Alzheimer’s, trauma recovery, osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, autoimmune disease, menopause, surgery recovery, issues with Lyme disease or mold, allergies, or insomnia, there are alternatives offered right here in Catalina. Some of the options include acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, red lasers, microcurrents, biofield tuning, dietary counseling, nutritional supplementation, and so much more!

Meet Dr. Joseph Tilchen, ND, or “Dr. Joe,” with offices in Catalina and Scottsdale. Dr. Joe is a licensed physician in the states of Arizona and Minnesota. He is a graduate of the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, Ariz. (now known as Sonoran University of Health Sciences).

Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Joe was a bona fide rocket scientist. He graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in aerospace engineering in 2003. Dr. Joe worked in teams to design, develop, and field-test rocket engines for private and government customers. As an engineer, he was trained to think in terms of overall systems performance. He carries forward this systems-focused approach from engineering into medicine by promoting the total health and wellness in the people he serves. Dr. Joe is currently finishing a Master of Pain Medicine from the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine.

Dr. Joe has extensive training with electrical stimulation technologies and techniques, and he mentors his colleagues in the use of these tools. He regularly attends training for Frequency Specific Microcurrent, and he has completed all training for the Senergy Tennant Biomodulator. He has also completed training with International Health Technologies in the use of the Bioscan MSA (EAV) machine.

Dr. Joe is a member of the American Academy of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) and Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association (AZNMA).
