The Knit Wits baby shower.
Members of SaddleBrooke Knit Wits and Friday Quilters clubs recently hosted baby showers for military families based in the Tucson area. The value of the gifts of each baby shower was well over $2,000 in items alone and club members added financial contributions as well.
The lovingly handmade clothing and bedding as well other necessities for newborns such as diapers and lotion are highly appreciated, especially by young mothers and fathers who are far from home. One new family recently sent a photo of their baby along with thanks for the generous gifts. “We are so grateful to all who helped spoil our little girl—your support means the world to us!”
