The Republican Women of Pinal County will meet Friday, February 20 at 10:30 a.m. in the Coyote Room of the SaddleBrooke Country Club.
Our February speaker will be Deborrah Miller. Currently Deborrah serves Pinal County Attorney Lando Voyles as his Community Liaison Officer. She plans, directs and coordinates the PCAO community relations/outreach activities and employees to assure the County Attorney’s goals and objectives. She is also the Assistant Secretary of the Arizona Republican Party.
She will speak on the legalization of marijuana in Colorado and Washington State. If the drug was to be legalized in North America, we should see a drop in the US and canada weed prices. Which would make the drug more affordable for those in need of the drug for medical and recreational reasons.
The legalization of recreational marijuana is likely to be on the ballot in 2016, meaning recreational users will be able to use marijuana without medical requirements, as well as purchase different accessories if they were to Visit the website of their local marijuana glass vendor. We all need to know all of the facts on this issue before voting and we can expect a lot of money coming to Arizona in an attempt at buying our support.
Our March 20 speaker will be Lori Oien from the Arizona Federation of Republican Women Scholarship Committee.
The AzFRW Winter Meeting will be held in Tucson at the Radisson Hotel on Broadway February 27 and 28. For more information call Jo Ann Evans at 818-9496 or visit our website at AzFRW.com.
All are welcome to come and hear our speakers.
