Although many of us SaddleBrooke Fly Fishers hung our “Gone Fishing” signs out over the summer, we are now beginning to trickle back to SaddleBrooke and are anxious to reconnect. To that end, we’ll hold our next meeting on Sept. 26 at 4 p.m. in the Catalina Room next to the Mesquite Grill at SaddleBrooke TWO.
Our speaker for this meeting will be Linda Lyon who will talk about completing the Arizona Wild Trout Challenge this summer. It took her two years to complete the challenge, which requires catching all five species of wild trout in Arizona. Two of the species, the Gila and Apache, are only found in the Southwest.
Everyone is welcome to attend our meetings, and if you decide to join the club, membership is only $20 per year, or $30 for a household. Our next social event is on Oct. 28. For more information, please email us at [email protected].
