Senior Softball USA (SSUSA) Winter Worlds Games were played in Phoenix on November 14 through 19, 2014. This tournament is the first of the 2015 season and is comprised of 175 teams from nearly all parts of the U.S.A. and Canada. The men’s division is from 50 to 80 year olds in five year increments with classifications of AAA, Major and Major Plus. The Women’s divisions are 50 to 70 years of age.

Three of SaddleBrooke’s softball players played in this tournament and won their divisions. Debbie Seguin played on the Women’s 55 division team Got Runs. Her team is from southern Arizona and her bracket consisted of sox teams in the 55 year age group. Ken Meinhart and Ron Quarantino played with PDR Fastsigns from Portland, Oregon, at the 75 year old Major division level which consisted of four teams in the bracket.

Congratulations to Debbie Seguin and Ron Quarantino who were also elected to the All Tournament Team.
