The SaddleBrooke Fine Arts Guild is proud to present their first Wine and Art Party! This fundraiser event is through our Outreach Program; in mid-January, 2020, the SaddleBrooke Fine Arts Guild is hosting an evening event where wine, food, and art will be served. We are supporting the Therapeutic Riding of Tucson (TROT) organization for this one-time event; 100% of ticket sales will go to their organization to help support the wonderful things they do for the people they work with.
TROT offers more than 2,000 therapeutic sessions annually to children and adults with disabilities in Tucson, and, also, works with Veterans for their needs. Horses have a long history of being used in programs aimed at rehabilitating individuals suffering from emotional and physical wounds, whether a child, adult, or a veteran. Please go to www.trotarizona.org for much more information on who they are, what they do, and information about their variety of programs.
You will paint a picture of a horse on an already prepared-for-you canvas using Acrylic paints with the guidance of your teacher, Karen Brungardt, and many helpers. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never touched a brush before; you’ll be able to take home a completed painting at the end of the evening, no matter your current level of art experience!
So, for $35 (ticket cost), you will get: food, wine (and/or water) a canvas paints, brushes, and other supplies teacher and helpers a completed painting to take home, and a tax deduction.
Remember, 100% of the ticket sales will be donated directly to the chosen organization! When you leave at the end of the event with a completed painting, you’ll also be given a letter showing your donation so you can use it for your taxes.
We plan to have an event like this periodically and we will be supporting a different organization each time. We welcome suggestions for worthy causes and you can email Karen at [email protected] with those ideas and why they should be considered. Keep an eye on our website, www.saddlebrookefinearts.org, for further information, registration form, and date of the event! Registration will be limited to 30 people so be sure to get your form in early. We will start accepting registrations on Dec. 10, 2019, and registration will end one week prior to the date of the Art and Wine party, which will be announced on our website as soon as the date is finalized.
