Special Program for iPhone/iPad Users

Open to all SaddleBrooke residents — this month’s SBCC User Group meeting will feature Diane Lineback with a special presentation on Tips and Tricks for your iPhone or iPads. Come learn 20 things you didn’t know your iPhone/iPad could do. Hear how to organize your device, save battery life, create medical ID information for first responders, shoot rapid photos, easily scribble on your pics you send and create reminders for anything and everything and more.

Meet in the MountainView Clubhouse West Ballroom on February 15 at 1:00 p.m.

A Full Calendar of Spring Trimester Classes

A new series of classes have started at SaddleBrooke Computer Club. The calendar is full of interesting subjects. Several new classes have been added recently. The only way to keep current on the available offerings is to periodically check the course calendar on the club website: www.saddlebrookecc.org (click the calendar link). If you haven’t checked recently, what are you missing? To sign up for a class, go to www.saddlebrookecc.org and click on Enrollment>Classroom.

Club members are eligible to take as many classes as they wish during the calendar year for one $30 course fee. These fees help to support our classroom infrastructure and keep our computers and software up to date.

Not yet a member? Go to www.saddlebrookecc.org/membership.html for details on how to join. SBCC is a teaching club. We’re not geeks (most of us anyway). So become a member today and start taking advantage of our down to earth classes.

If you have any trouble with the membership or class registration process, you may contact our registrar, Alice Stuart, at 520-825-4239.

More Online Classes Added

In addition to our live classroom courses, club members can take select classes online any time of day or night without leaving the comfort of your home. To access our eLearn center, go to the club website at www.saddlebrookecc.org, hover over the Enrollment link and select eLearn. Club members will need to sign in to get a menu of all currently available programs.

Photographers – take note! Photoshop Elements A is now complete and Elements B is being filled out as we speak. Visit the eLearn Center to see the complete list of online classes and video replays of our recent User Group meetings.

Morning Tech Discussion Group Is Back

Steve Solberg has returned to SaddleBrooke and so have the Tech Discussion Group meetings he instituted last year. This group meets in the MountainView Bistro-East Room at 7:30 a.m. every other Tuesday. Most of the group takes advantage of the timing to have breakfast over these informal but somewhat technical discussions.

The topics vary widely and Steve sends out an email on the agenda prior to each meeting. If you would like to get on that list, send Steve an email at [email protected].
