Connie Saiz
People often ask, “Why join a church?” After all, we all know what volunteer organizations can become. The best comparison is to a family, a church family. When someone becomes a member of a fellowship of other believers, they are making a commitment to be a part of that church family through thick and thin. Each person brings their commitment of time, talent and treasure while the church family responds with the same for the mutual encouragement and development of everyone. We are simply following the commitment of our Lord who gave Himself for us.
In that spirit, Community Church at SaddleBrooke is delighted to welcome our newest members as seen in the photo above. We know that each one brings a heart full of faith and a desire to help our church serve the spiritual and human needs in our community and world.
Community Church welcomes people who do not have a church home to visit us. The worship services are open to all and the membership process is refreshing. Each person attends a onetime new member orientation where they get to know about the church and meet the pastors and leaders. If they choose to apply for membership, they are then welcomed publicly in the worship service and greeted by the other members at a reception which follows. As the friendship connections begin to bond, new partnerships in ministry emerge and make a lasting difference. When you visit, our fellowship will speak for itself.
If you have a question about our church, simply visit our website, www.communitychurchsaddlebrooke.com or contact one of our members. They would love to share their story. Our dream is to be a community of grace where people will receive, live and share the love of Jesus Christ. We meet at the DesertView Theater on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and look forward to seeing you soon.
