Alex Martinez, well-known weaver from Oaxaca, Mexico will be in SaddleBrooke on Wednesday, November 16 to offer two hands-on workshops demonstrating the traditional dyeing techniques his family uses in their weavings.
Participants will learn to make the natural dyes using plant materials in different combinations. You may bring a small item to test your results!
The workshops will be conducted in the Agate Room at HOA 2 from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. The cost for each is $15.
His family’s weavings will also be available for purchase!
