The Pool Players of The Brookes Billiards Club (PPB) hosted an 8-Ball Singles Tournament on Nov. 15 in the SaddleBrooke One Catalina Recreation Center (CRC) Billiards Room. This was the second of five 8-Ball Tournament qualifiers for the PPB Club Championship. The PPB was the sponsor of this tournament. The format of this 8-Ball Singles Tournament was double-elimination.
The tournament director was Joe Giammarino. The following field of 16 players showed up to compete in the game of 8-ball singles: Lowell “8-Ball” Hegg, Jim Samlaska, Tony “The Snake” Cardillo, Bill Webster, Joe “Ball Breaker” Vidmar, Fred “The Baker” Dianda, Jack “Crash” Hoverter, Dick “The Visor” Titus, Dominic “The Doctor” Borland, Phelps “Montana” L’Hommedieu, Mike Collins, Mark Erwin, Randy “Nice Try” Smith, Russ “Long Shot” Doering, Rich “Dead Eye” Adinolfi, and Steve Wiley.

1st: Joe “Ball Breaker” Vidmar, Undefeated! 5 wins, 0 losses
2nd: Tony “The Snake” Cardillo, So Close! 4 wins, 2 losses
3rd: Rich “Dead Eye” Adinolfi, First Time in Picture, Congrats! 4 wins, 2 losses
4th: Steve Wiley, Another Good Tournament! 3 wins, 2 losses
