The Questers Corner Mystery Country

Mary (Twink) Gates

It was Oct. 21 when 12 members of the Catalina Timewalkers met at Kathy Turner’s home for their regular monthly business meeting and program for the day, “Mystery Country.”

Following a quick business discussion, the program challenge they had was a game of 20 Questions. Participants located items around the house and guessed what the items were and what city and country they came from. Fun prizes were awarded to participants who had the most correct answers. They had a fun time exploring their knowledge of unique treasures from around the world.

Our club/group has local, state, and international connections. Each month we have a presentation topic that is researched, explored, and shared with the group. We would love to have you join us on our journey to explore life’s treasures with our group. Please contact one of us to find out more information about joining our group:

Kathy Turner, co-president, 719-679-9013

Sylvia Munsen, co-president, 435-938-8824

Leni Bowman, membership, 623-217-5336

We meet once a month to explore specific topics or go to unique venues around Tucson. Do we learn interesting facts and information? Yes. Do we have fun? Yes. Are both men and women welcome in our group? Yes.

Questers is an international group that researches, restores, and investigates vintage and interesting items and locations around the Tucson area. All are welcome to join our fun-loving organization.

Interested in joining the Catalina Timewalkers chapter of Questers? Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at individual homes, or we carpool to locations in October of 2025 and May of 2026. Meetings in October and May are on the third Tuesday of the month. Our December meeting was on Dec. 9, with a holiday topic program hosted by Monique Salviejo and Lynne Anderson.
