Susan Sterling to Direct Spring Play

What in the world is Susan Sterling doing in this photo? The answer: simply resting! We hope to announce the specific spring play before too long, or as soon as Susan wakes up from her nap! (Photo by Gus Pachis)

We are excited to announce that Susan Sterling, co-founder of Community Circle Players (CCP), will be the director for our March 2024 production. While a specific play hasn’t been selected, Susan, along with others on the CCP Executive Committee, is focused on selecting the most amusing and pleasurable dinner theater production for SaddleBrooke residents. As the dog days of summer wind down, we hope to announce the specific spring play before too long.

Another exciting announcement is that CCP has purchased 15 over-the-ear mics and four lapel mics for our actors, which will be used for the first time in our March 2024 production. From the start, part of our mission has been to give back to the community, and this purchase will significantly enrich our audiences’ overall experience at the MountainView Ballroom. So, thank you to all our CCP theater attendees whose continued support allows us to give back through ongoing investments in various audience enhancements!

For those of you looking to make new friends or simply looking for a fun activity, you may want to consider auditioning for one of our productions or working in a behind-the-scenes support role. There are quite a few ways for you to get involved, and you would be able to experience firsthand the fun and excitement of being involved in live theater—no experience required! Actor auditions and sign-ups for backstage roles will be held on Jan. 8 and 9, 2024. Rehearsals will occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., January through March. Performances will be the last week of March.
