Former Maryland residents are invited to celebrate the state’s 381st birthday on Wednesday, March 25, 2015. The party to be held at the Mesquite Grill will begin with a cash bar at 5:00 p.m. followed by a hearty buffet featuring Maryland fried and grilled chicken and birthday cake, of course.
Invitations were tubed to known ex-Maryland and Washington, DC residents. Any former Marylander who did not receive one should contact Nancy Blackwell at 520-818-9309.
Those who received an invitation are encouraged to fill out the form soon and either mail it or deliver it to Nancy Blackwell at 38019 S. Golf Course Drive in SaddleBrooke. Checks should be drafted to Maryland State Party. The cost is $25 per person.

SaddleBrooke’s annual gathering of the Cheezeheads will be Thursday evening, February 26, 2015, at SaddleBrooke One’s Vistas Dining Room with great food (sauerbraten, pork roast, mashed potatoes, sauerkraut and cherry cobber with whipped cream), door prizes and fun. $26 tickets go on sale in January.
