A group of five SaddleBrooke Tennis Club (STC) members got together over a year and half ago to evaluate different software that would fit the needs of the club. The group evaluated more than 30 possibilities, and Court Reserve was selected. However, Court Reserve did not have one feature that the team felt was essential—an organized play module. In organized play, a member signs up for a specific day and time, along with other club members. The software then makes matches based on the playing level of the players. Court Reserve agreed to create this module specifically for the STC and just finished in August.
After many hours of planning, programming, testing, and developing tutorials to assist members with the change, the new website, app.courtreserve.com/portal/sbtennis, was launched on Aug. 13. The functionality is available to everyone. You can reserve a court for tennis or POP Tennis.
If you are a current club member and have not yet set up your account, go to the website, select login, and select “forgot password.” You will receive an email to reset your password and open your account.
Resident nonclub members may also use the website to reserve a court by registering as a guest. A guest will be able to see what courts are available and any reservations that were made and can reserve any open court.
Everyone will still need to send in a court request for Prime Time hours by email to [email protected]. The tennis coordinators will enter your request in the system, and you will receive an email confirmation. You will be able to see which courts you received in Prime Time around noon the day before.
And there is an app available at the Google Play Store and the Apple Store. Check out the Download Phone App tutorial.
