The Soft Surroundings store in La Encantada shopping center not only offers solutions to Christmas shopping needs, but will also be offering an array of exciting spring fashions at the Friday, February 26 luncheon and style show hosted by Chapter EP of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
Held in the MountainView Ballroom, the popular event will kick off with a luncheon featuring a chicken, field greens and strawberry salad, rolls, assorted beverages and cookies, followed by the style show. Delightful music will be provided by pianist Carolyn Cochran. Doors open at 11:00 a.m. and luncheon will be served at 11:30 a.m.
Because tickets sold quickly, few remain at the HOA Two Administrative Office. If you would like to be put on a waiting list, please contact Mary Thompson, ticket chairman, at 825-1786. Tickets are $30 apiece.
Co-chairs Mary Baglien and Vicki Graham, assisted by their committee, have been working diligently to assure a not-to-be missed affair. Chapter EP is especially grateful for the corporate support of Bon Voyage Travel and the Navigation Retirement Group.
All proceeds assist the philanthropic and educational organization’s efforts to help women pursuing their educations. These projects include scholarships and loans benefitting seniors in high school, women working to complete a baccalaureate degree, scholars in doctoral programs and international students studying in the United States. P.E.O. also provides major support for Cottey College, a liberal arts institution for women in Nevada, Missouri.
