Senior seminar – March 31

Gary Hammond

SaddleBrooke Seniors and SaddleBrooke Health and Wellness are sponsoring a seminar series in early 2015. The third (of three) will be held on Wednesday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. in the MountainView Ballroom West.

Sally Simpson, an Elder Law specialist at Simpson Law Office PLLC will provide an Overview of Elder Law Issues in Arizona. There are key documents we all must have and more that we should have. We also need to be aware of the dangers of fraud and abuse and know what we can do to help protect ourselves and our loved ones. This will be an informal presentation and your questions are welcome. Note that this is one of the very few times you’ll be able to talk to a lawyer for free!

Back on January 22 Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Association, Kelly Raach, spoke on Wandering and Safety Issues for Alzheimer’s. And on February 25 Program Director of the Alzheimer’s Association Morgen Hartford discussed Caregiving and Stress Issues for Alzheimer’s. Videos of both seminars are available on the SaddleBrooke Seniors website at http://www.sbseniors.org/videos.html.
