SaddleBrooke Winds and Strings (SBWS) ended 2025 with our Whimsical Winter Concert on Dec. 20. If you missed out, here are upcoming opportunities to hear our community ensemble:
March 8: Vista de la Montana United Methodist Church, 2 p.m.
April 18: DesertView Performing Arts Center, 6 p.m.
You can hear the winter concert here: youtu.be/hbbkMlxmVX4.
For more information, see our website at saddlebrookewindsandstrings.org.
Our music director Jesus Jacquez teaches at every rehearsal and enhances our performances with a creative visual display to go along with the music. If you have an instrument and might be interested in joining us, please get in touch. We especially need French horn, bassoon, euphonium, trombone, and a mallet/auxiliary percussionist, but all instruments are welcome. String players play from modified wind parts.
We come together on Friday mornings in the SaddleBrooke and Catalina area and welcome intermediate and up musicians who come from SaddleBrooke and outlying areas.
For more information about joining us, contact info@saddlebrookewindsandstrings.org.
