SaddleBrooke Singers Salute America

Sally Sample

The SaddleBrooke Singers will present their spring concert, April 1 and 3, 2016, in a dynamic celebration of our Nation and our Heroes. Under the baton of our new director Tanya Elias-Graf, the Singers are excited to present a patriotic concert of new and familiar music. Director Tanya has selected music for the chorus that provides an opportunity for both singers and attendees to honor our country’s greatness at a time when we are in need of a moment to appreciate America and those who have served in protecting our freedoms.

The concert will open with a thrilling rendition of I Hear America Singing. You will hear unique renditions of The Gettysburg Address and The Pledge of Allegiance. The audience will have the opportunity to join in the singing of The Stars and Stripes Forever that will have one’s feet tapping to this energetic John Philip Sousa march.

Our heroes will be honored in the timeless classic from Les Miserables, Bring Him Home, which has touched audiences for the past decades. The Singers honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in their rendition of In Memoriam. The concert will close with a timeless message appropriate for this time, Let There Be Peace on Earth

Tickets are available at the MountainView ticket office for $18. The concert dates are Friday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, April 3 at 4:00 p.m. at the DesertView Theatre. For more information contact Sam Page at 825-1047.
