Donation awarded to Julie Hall of OARR by Hedy Gryszan, SBPRN treasure
Local Rescue Group
Romayne Trudo
Recently, SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network (SBPRN) received a very generous donation from Beth Fedor and Lynn Tofel Dent of Realty Executives, Give Back Team, GiveBackAZ.com. The funds were immediately distributed to Oracle Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (OARR) so that they can continue their life-saving work within Pinal County and beyond. OARR works tirelessly, supporting local communities through their fostering and adoption programs; Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) programs; and by offering critical, free mobile spay/neuter clinics, held multiple times each year. SBPRN is proud to partner with OARR in these lifesaving endeavors. This is just one example of how SBPRN supports our local rescue groups. Thank you, Beth and Lynn, for helping us help them.
Pet Rescue Network’s Monthly Pet Donation First Friday Drop-Off
Marcy Vernon
Our various pet charities are always in need and are always thankful for your donations. Please consider dropping off only pet-related items in clean, gently used condition. Items such as pet crates (broken down), bowls, towels, sheets and blankets, and small cat trees under three feet long are accepted. Cash donations are always appreciated. We are a 501(c)(3) organization, so a receipt is available upon request.
We always need pet food. If opened, please label the brand, type of food, and the expiration date.
We cannot accept Poly-fil items such as pillows, as they present a choking hazard. We cannot accept mattress pads, mattress covers, bedspreads, or rubber-backed rugs. Any items accepted are at the discretion of the volunteers.
April drop-off hours are 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the SaddleBrooke One bocce ball courts. It is always on the first Friday of the month.
May through September hours are 7:30 to 8:30 a.m.
Please do not leave items unless volunteers are present.
Please drive slowly, and watch for our volunteers at the cones!
SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network thanks you.
Hello, My Name Is Harley, and I Need a New Home
Marcy Vernon
I have lived with my dad in SaddleBrooke for a very long time. Sadly, Dad can no longer care for me because of his poor health. His one desire is to find a new home for me where I will continue to be loved. Dad says I am a Heeler mix who he adopted from the Humane Society years ago. I am a sweet, 12-year-old boy. I love people and other dogs, but I have never met a kitty. I am in good health, approximately 45 pounds, walk well on a leash, neutered, vaccinated, and housebroken. Please consider adopting me so that Dad doesn’t have to spend his last days worrying about me. Call or text Romayne of SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue Network at 520-834-5718 for more information or to arrange a meet and greet. I promise you’ll love me!

• Assist in pet placement,
• Volunteer and fund raise for pet rescue efforts, and
• Educate the community about Tucson’s homeless pets.
