Dancing in the Park
Lynne Kumza
What a delightful way to celebrate a sunny and joy filled Tucson morning with friends by dancing in the park; a little bit of dancing and a little bit of dining. The SaddleBrooke Line Dance Club thoroughly enjoyed our time together in Tohono Chul. This is truly a hidden gem in a desert corner. We were surrounded by the wonders of nature in the Sonoran Desert region.
Fun started by line dancing in the Education Center. Paul Miller, our docent, led the way through the enticing, cool paths of the park to the romantic setting of the park’s patio restaurant. We sat in the shade of the umbrellas and over-hanging vines and delighted in a light lunch and light conversation.
Would you like to dance along with us? Does line dancing peak an interest as a form of exercise? It’s never boring and we sure do have a lot of fun. For more information about our club, dance times and locations check out our website at sbldc.weebly.com or contact Terri Gage at 262-8304. Dues for an entire year are only $10. This includes all the fun we have through dance, parties and exercise. See you on the dance floor.
