Yes, it’s no longer a rumor that Neil Simon’s play RUMORS was a huge success! Community Circle Players (CCP) drew the final curtain March 5. If the audience feedback is any indication, it ranked right up there as one of their best plays. Ten fantastic actors performed for six dinner theater shows, bringing laughter and hilarity to the audience each night. Shawne Cryderman, director of RUMORS, stated: “This production far surpassed my wildest dreams. My vision of the show and all of the nuances made for a superb production and a fun evening for actors and audiences alike.”
CCP is not resting on its laurels. After each performance, there were some lively discussions and brainstorming by the cast and crew looking at options for next spring’s production. CCP will be looking for individuals who are interested in directing, producing or acting. Ideas for script perusal are also welcome.
Stay tuned. More details will continue to emerge this spring and summer. For those of you who are eager to audition, auditions for the CCP 2027 spring production are scheduled Jan. 4 and 5, 2027. However, depending on when a play is selected, auditions may be held early to mid-December. Rehearsals will follow through early March. Production dates are March 19 to 25, 2027. Mark your calendars and save the dates.
We would love to have you become a member of our CCP family. For additional information, please contact Connie Ward at clward54@gmail.com.
