The men of Resurrection Church held their first breakfast of the year on Saturday, October 3 at the main campus in Oro Valley. This opportunity for the men of the church to meet on a regular schedule will be held the first Saturday of each month until adjourning sometime next year for the summer. A highlight of the breakfast is that the cook is Mary Jensen, mother of Senior Pastor Al Jensen. Mary knows her way around a kitchen and the food is outstanding. Little wonder the breakfast is a well-attended and popular event.
Over a third of those present were SaddleBrooke residents. Some of those attend services at the main campus and some are regulars at the services here in SaddleBrooke. Among the SaddleBrooke service regulars attending were Win Babson, Palmer Ruschke, Dave Stanard, Al Toensing, Pat Webb, Steve Westby, Marv Wycoff, Gary Zellinger and Jon Zetterberg.
Resurrection Church at SaddleBrooke holds its traditional all-denominational Sunday worship services at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m. in the Vermilion Room at the HOA 1 Clubhouse. All are welcome.
