The Republican Women’s Club of Pinal County started off the fall season with two outstanding speakers. The first speaker, Lea Marquez Peterson, spoke on Sept. 17. She currently serves on the Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC). The ACC has regulated authority over the state’s public utilities.

The second speaker, Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb, spoke on Friday, Oct. 15. Sheriff Lamb manages more than 650 employees within the sheriff’s department. They provide many services throughout the county, including but not limited to lost and found, human and drug trafficking, and border security operations.

On Friday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m., the speaker will be Pinal County Tax Assessor Doug Wolf. Mr. Wolf has served as Pinal County Assessor since 2012. The tax assessor determines the value of a property for local real estate taxation purposes. The location for this meeting will be announced at a later date.
