SaddleBrooke Ranch is on a mission to help save lives by hosting a blood drive on Dec. 3 from 7 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at The Ranch House, Sol Ballroom, 31143 S. Amenity Drive, Oracle, AZ 85623.
The community is invited to take part in this special event and donate blood for hospital patients in our neighborhoods and across the nation. The need for blood is constant, but only three percent of the U.S. population donates. By rolling up a sleeve, donors can play a critical role in the treatment of accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those receiving treatment for leukemia, cancer, or sickle cell disease.

What is Power Red? Help fight sickle cell disease. In the United States, an estimated 100,000 people of various racial and ethnic backgrounds have sickle cell disease, with the majority being of African descent. Blood from people of the same race or similar ethnicity is important in ensuring the best transfusion results with the least potential reaction.
