What do POP tennis, motorcycles, interior design, and landscape design have to do with one another? They are all the things Anthony Faifer, our POP Tennis Player of the Month loves to do.
Anthony lived and worked as a landscape designer, interior designer, and property manager for 20 years in South Africa before heading back to the United States where he settled in Miami to continue his design business. Along the way, he met his husband Landon, and a few years later, decided to leave Florida for Arizona after visiting his sister Jeannine here in SaddleBrooke.
After purchasing a home in SaddleBrooke One, Anthony put his talents to work, and this time it was redesigning the interior and exterior of his own house while working as the design manager for the Villas at Miraval Resort and Spa.
Anthony is also a collector of art and has taken his motorcycle on cross-country rides to purchase and ship art back to his SaddleBrooke home.
When Anthony is not playing POP tennis, he’s providing design services for his clients, which range from a consultation about furniture placement to a total landscape design. He believes that design does not have to be extensive or expensive and tries to reuse as much as possible of a client’s existing home or landscape to minimize costs and disruption.
Anthony is also a dog lover and, along with Landon, shares his home with Molly and Lacey who are both rescue dogs.
The POP tennis community is grateful for all the volunteering Anthony Faifer does to further our sport, and he is always there to welcome new members to the SaddleBrooke Tennis Club community.
