2024 Electronics & Hazardous Waste Recycling Event
March 30, 9 a.m. to noon, MountainView Clubhouse lower parking lot, $10 per carload
As spring arrives, Senior Village is here to help you declutter responsibly. With the assistance of nearly 20 volunteers and e-waste partner Suburban Miners, Senior Village offers a one-stop place to recycle hard-to-dispose-of items, including electronics, batteries, computers/tablets, TVs, phones, paint, pesticides, fertilizers, house-cleaning chemicals, fluorescent lights, and more. Any item that can be plugged in, is battery-powered, or contains metal may be recycled on March 30. However, certain items such as books, cardboard, clothing, furniture, mattresses, and paper cannot be recycled at the event. For just $10 per carload (with an additional $10 fee for flat-panel TVs larger than 24 inches and $20 for CRT, DLP, and projection TVs), you can contribute to a cleaner, greener SaddleBrooke community. Beach Bash: A Dinner Dance Fundraiser for Senior Village
April 6, 5 to 9 p.m., MountainView Ballroom, $75 per ticket
Save the date for this lively fundraising event that helps enable Senior Village to provide many useful services for members and serve as a resource to the Greater SaddleBrooke community. Event tickets are on sale at the SaddleBrooke TWO MountainView Administration Office or at www.sbhoa2.org/tickets. If raffle tickets are more your speed or event tickets are sold out, you may also support Senior Village by buying cash raffle tickets. Simply email [email protected] to buy four raffle tickets for $20 and enter to win several cash prizes. Winners need not be present at the Beach Bash raffle drawing.
Men’s Social Hour
March 25, April 22, and May 28, 4 to 6 p.m., free
MountainView Bar & Grill, East Patio Room
Unwind and enjoy genuine conversations in a laid-back setting at Men’s Social Hour. At this monthly event, community members gather for some real talk and an opportunity to connect. No need to RSVP. Senior Village Book Club
Third Thursday of each month, 1 to 3 p.m., free
