Food, fun, music, fashions and prizes will abound when P.E.O. Chapter EP proudly presents, “Harmony of Sisterhood,” the 2018 edition of their annual Luncheon and Fashion Show.
Tickets are available now for this exciting event. It’s a very popular annual occasion which has been a sell-out in the past and is expected to be a sell-out this year, as well. So, don’t wait. Purchase your tickets now at the SaddleBrooke TWO Administration Office located just west of the MountainView Clubhouse and Ballroom. Their hours are Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $32 per person, and tables will seat 10 (all seats are reserved).
The fun will begin at 11:00 a.m. on March 9 when the doors will open at the SaddleBrooke MountainView Ballroom. A delicious luncheon of citrus salad with chicken will be served at 11:30 a.m. This year’s theme will be enhanced by the SaddleBrooke Barbershop Chorus treating us to a musical interlude with their delightful harmonies.
Our own inimitable Fira Stout will again be handling the Emcee duties while Stein Mart, with stores on North Stone and East Broadway will be featuring their lovely and lively spring offerings. Mona Schooley-Brown, our Stein Mart representative, assures that you will be certain to find just the right outfit for you, whether you will be traveling this spring, taking a long-awaited cruise, or just chillin’ in the ‘Brooke! This is the 2018 Fashion Show you will not want to miss!
The proceeds from our 2018 Luncheon and Fashion Show will be used to support the Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.) Our P.E.O. Sisterhood maintains six educational projects in the form of grants, scholarships and loans as well as the stewardship of Cottey College, a liberal arts college for women located in Nevada, Missouri. These awards go to deserving women, from high school through adulthood, in the USA as well as internationally, who are trying to further their education.
P.E.O. chapters support the educational and charitable funds of the P.E.O. Sisterhood but are not classified as charitable by the IRS. Therefore, donations to individual chapters do not meet the IRS requirements for a charitable income tax deduction. P.E.O. shall not be liable in any way for any goods and services supplied by third-party vendors or public establishments.
