Open Board of Directors positions

David Loendorf, President

Senior Village at SaddleBrooke is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation registered in the state of Arizona and designated as a Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO). Our mission is to “provide simple, non-medical services to residents of SaddleBrooke to help them live independently as they age in place.” Village volunteers are committed to helping whether it be answering phone requests, driving members, making home repairs or participating in social activities with members.

During the past three years, the Village has grown rapidly, now counting 495 members and 160 volunteers. To keep pace and continue to expand, we are looking to fill three more positions on our Board of Directors.

If you are an experienced board member in an area listed below and/or have a passion to support our mission, please consider submitting your resume.

Funding and Grants: While Senior Village has been an all-volunteer organization, we now see the need to hire part time supportive help which will require an increased stream of funding over and above our minimal dues. A Director of Funding and Grants will focus on developing income sources through fundraising events, grant writing and donor programs.

Finance: Ensuring the future financial stability of Senior Village is a primary goal. A Director of Finance would play a key role in managing diverse investments to provide necessary ongoing income. This position also would entail working with patrons who choose to name Senior Village as a beneficiary in their wills or estate plans.

Technology: Senior Village developed a unique administrative website to support all aspects of the technical side of the Village. A Director of Technology would oversee the maintenance of this website as well as introduce new technological advances to benefit our aging members.

The Senior Village Board of Directors welcomes your interest in one of these positions. You may forward a cover letter and resume to: Senior Village, PO Box 8584, Tucson, AZ 85738; Attention: President or send to [email protected].

We invite you to join us as together we make a significant contribution of service to the SaddleBrooke community.
