Dawn Petty joins the Aces

The MountainView/Preserve Women’s Golf Association had a great turnout and beautiful weather for the June Ace of the Month event, sponsored by Ann Fraley Long Realty. Twenty-nine ladies competed at MountainView for low scores, with a thrilling three-way tie at the top! Janey Clausen, Dawn Petty, and Kim Cox all carded an incredible low gross of 82. Kim Cox stayed hot to share the low net honors with Randi Roberts, both turning in a blistering 63. With these stellar rounds, all four ladies have officially qualified for the prestigious 2026 Ace of the Year tournament. They will face off in the ultimate championship playoff this coming January. The day also featured a twist, with a T’s & F’s game (only net scores for two, three, four, five, 10, 12, 13, 14, and 15 counted toward Flight prizes), with Dawn, Kim, and Randi also cruising to victory in their respective flights. Dawn Petty, who moved from Hollister, Calif., to SaddleBrooke about 10 months ago, also won the KP Hole on #4, sponsored by Moore Advantage Team. Other notables were Corky Bosch who won her flight, while Jenni Farquhar had KP on #17 (sponsored by Andy’s Irrigation).
