MountainView/Preserve Lady Niners compete at Tucson National Coyote Classic

Diane Mazzarella

MountainView/Preserve Lady Niners (MPLN) were well represented at the Tucson National Coyote Classic Invitational Tournament on April 2, 2015. The field of 20 players from Tucson National’s Lady Niners plus 64 guests from 11 clubs included 13 MPLN members. In addition to playing nine holes on the course that recently hosted the PGA Senior tour, participants enjoyed breakfast, a raffle, pro shop discounts and a delicious lunch with presentation of awards and raffle prizes.

Congratulations to Joyce Sutay (second place in a dice-roll playoff), Louise Bidwell (third place), Linda Rouse (fifth place in a dice-roll playoff), plus Linda Miles and Sue Staker (par three contests).

MPLN members have the opportunity to play at annual events held at other clubs in southern Arizona in addition to many home tournaments and weekly games on Tuesday mornings. For more information visit mountainviewniners.com or contact Rita Smith at 818-9239.
