December 14, 2015, the MountainView Lady Putters held their annual holiday luncheon. Over 100 putters turned out in holiday attire for this annual event. Festive tinsel trees and poinsettias served as centerpieces and the Vistas Dining Room was adorned with holiday decorations. President Stef Modos introduced the Coyote Country Cloggers – Diane Korn, Pat Cox, Steph Cady, Donna Leonard, Sylvia Bonesky, Pat Tiefenbach, Skip Brauns, Dan Marsh and their leader Carol Jones. They entertained us with rousing clogging routines to holiday tunes while snow started coming down. The snow flurries increased during the course of the luncheon, creating a delightful and unexpected winter atmosphere.
During and after the meal, drawings were held for the many gift bags containing a variety of gifts from golf balls and sparkly hats to neighborhood restaurant gift cards. This year everyone in attendance was a lucky winner and received a gift. MVLP especially appreciated the generous donation of gift cards made by Grimaldi’s Pizzeria and Bruegger’s Bagels.
President Stef also announced that in December MVLP donated $70 and over 2,000 cookies to the HOA 2 Maintenance Crew Holiday Party to help thank the crew for the great job they do throughout the year. Presentations were also made for monthly putting awards. The following putters received trophies for their outstanding play during November:
Roadrunner Award (low gross score) – Pat Wells with 37.8
Lou Ann Garvin Tiger Award (low net score) – Myrl Carter Dahman with 32.0
Hole in Wonder – Pat Wells with five holes-in-one
