The JFG’s Social for Members was held on July 17 in the East Ballroom of MountainView. Hors d’oeuvres were served which were delicious; tables had been set up so people were able to sit comfortably and schmooze. We all enjoyed cooling off from the heat and socializing although a bit of wine did heat some of us up a bit!
Thanks to Margie Baron, Diane Korn and Patti Reingold for hosting the Ladies’ coffee in July. A lovely time was had by all who attended.
The upcoming Ladies’ Coffee will be hosted by Ellie Adelman and Jane Urowitz at Ellie’s home, 36500 S Rockcrest Dr on Friday, August 16. Please RSVP to Ellie at [email protected].
The next men’s lunch will be Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at the Catalina Room of the Mesquite Grill in SaddleBrooke TWO. It will start at 11:00 a.m. and we have the room until 1:00 p.m.

The Co-Ed Book Club’s vote on next season’s books is underway. It is a difficult decision this year with 31 books nominated from both fiction and non-fiction categories. Watch out for results soon.
Sy Efron has been collecting toys for the children at the Diamond Children’s Hospital for the last 14 years. Sy feels that it is time for him to retire and hopefully pass it on to another volunteer.
