Do you watch Antiques Roadshow? Do you have a special collection? Do you like historical landmarks? If you answered yes to any of the above, Questers may be for you. The Questers is an international organization with its headquarters in Philadelphia. The purpose is to stimulate the appreciation of antiques through study and to encourage the restoration and preservation of historic landmarks.
Two of the forty-one Quester chapters in Arizona are in the SaddleBrooke area. Catalina Timewalkers meets on the third Friday mornings and Sonoran Searchers meets on the second Wednesday afternoons. Our monthly meetings are from October through May. We usually meet in our homes or visit interesting historic sites or museums. Some of the many interesting programs planned for this year are Primitives, Powder Jars, Arizona Inn, Orphan Trains, Victorian Satin Glass and San Xavier del Bac.
