Susan Shear

The PrimeTime Players’ auditions were great fun and now we have a fabulous ensemble cast for our spring production, The House of Tomorrow. The comedy/drama written and directed by Susan Shear contains over 50 characters in 28 scenes with a common theme about changes in our lives as we age. At the heart of the stories, at once humorous yet moving, are the challenges before us and how we remain hopeful and positive as we forge ahead.

As in The Dining Room which we presented in 2012, the cast will take on the challenging task of portraying multiple characters of all ages. One major distinction between The Dining Room and The House of Tomorrow is that this play includes musical numbers that add depth and interest to the stories.

An ensemble cast portrays over 50 different roles; how we deal with and often still delight in the changes in our lives as we age. Our cast includes Tim Morsani, Susan Sterling, Karen Moore, Ron Andrea, Shawne Cryderman, Sam Horowitz, Joan Cohen, Sam Page, Dianne Ashby, Casey Domalewski and Sandra Mahanna. Each one of our own SaddleBrooke actors brings an extensive background in theatre to their performance.

Tickets are already on sale for The House of Tomorrow at SaddleBrooke Two.com. The show performs March 24-29 at the MountainView Cabaret Theatre. Seating is at round tables of 10. Tickets are $24 including dessert and coffee served at your table. The best tables sell out quickly so remember to buy early. Consider buying a table so you can enjoy the evening with friends and neighbors.
