Three cheers to the MountainView Lady Putters for surpassing their goal of $3,000 for the rural area San Manuel/Mammoth Schools.
A check was presented to Principal Dr. Michele Poppen for $3,043. This was the amount the MVLPutters so generously donated to bring the Science Bus to the schools for the students to learn and enjoy. Initially, it was for the middle school, but because of the putters’ generosity, all the elementary and middle school students will be able to have this enriching experience.
An older student at the school who has an interest in science was asked to assist the children with their experience while going through the bus.
