Dr. Scott N. Sheftel, M.D., FAAD, will speak on Monday, January 23 at 7:00 p.m.
One in five Americans will get skin cancer in their lifetimes, according to the University of Arizona Cancer Center. The next speaker at Health Night Out, Dr. Scott Sheftel, founder of Healthy Skin Dermatology, will give guidelines on skin self-examination, discuss the many therapies in his practice and offer free skin cancer screenings.
Dr. Sheftel received his dermatology training at the University of Arizona after an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Phoenix. He has specialized training in surgical oncology, laser surgery, skin laser resurfacing, hair transplantation and sclerotherapy.
Dr. Sheftel has a special, long-term relationship with the SaddleBrooke community and underwrites the annual SaddleBrooke Health Fair.
