Free service available for Pinal residents

Esta Goldstein, President, Founder and sponsor of this event

On Saturday, September 29, in the SaddleBrooke One Clubhouse Coyote Room from 10:00 a.m.-noon, we will have Ginger Fligger, Director of Independent Living Services for Pinal-Gila Council for Senior Citizens, speak to our community regarding free services available to our community.

How many times have you heard your neighbors who are caring for their ill partner or watched an elderly live-alone neighbor asking for help not just to get somewhere, but for help keeping their home clean, preparing food, having a home health care person in their home and can no longer afford to hire anyone? This has become a large problem to our growing elder population who has seen their money dwindle to just their social security check. We are seeing more of this in SaddleBrooke, but with the help of the SaddleBrooke Village and the information that will be presented by Ms. Fligger, life can and will be brighter for many.

So, please come and learn what we can do to receive assistance, though many of us don’t know when that will be, we can be prepared to have a plan of action. We can also help our neighbors who couldn’t get to this meeting, know who, where to go for the much needed lifting of those emotional and physical burdens.
