The SaddleBrooke EZ Riders Cycling Club enjoys indoor bike riding year-round. We ride no matter the weather—heat, cold, or rain. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, our club held classes outdoors under the west patio of the MountainView clubhouse ballroom. We’re dedicated and enthused to keep on riding!
The EZ Riders Club officially became a designated SaddleBrooke TWO club in 2019. At that time, we became responsible for purchasing indoor bikes, and our volunteer class leaders needed to be certified. From the beginning, our club set out to create a group riding environment that provides a sense of community and motivation to ride.
Indoor cycling is a fantastic aerobic workout that strengthens the heart and improves blood flow. It effectively targets and strengthens the major muscles in the legs, and it improves core engagement. Riding is a great stress reliever, too.
EZ Rider classes are held in the Rincon Room located next door to the MountainView Golf Shop. We have 24 Keiser indoor bikes, and the cycling room is spacious and bright and dedicated to indoor bike riding. Classes are held every day of the week. The number of classes and the times offered vary by day. If you would like to come join us for a couple of classes, please check out our website at sbezriders.clubexpress.com and contact our membership chair.
Cycling is a low-impact exercise option, making it suitable for everyone. The class leaders encourage each rider to ride at his/her own pace. It’s your workout. The leaders pick their own invigorating music—most songs you will recognize. Remember, everyone is a beginner at some stage. Come join the fun, make new friends, and exercise for health.
