The SaddleBrooke Plant Based Nutrition Group is pleased to bring back Dr. Ted Crawford to speak on “How to Stay Young, Functional, and Reverse Disease” on Friday, April 4, at 4 p.m. in the DesertView Performing Arts Center.
Everyone’s talking about how to stay young, vital, and active. Dr. Crawford will discuss anti-aging strategies that extend longevity and maintain functionality. Come learn the easy things you can do that will make a huge difference in your quality of life.
Dr. Crawford is a prolific speaker, often bringing his patients to share their testimonials. He was featured in the highly acclaimed documentary Eating You Alive. As he puts it, “The most potent medicine comes not from a pill, but from what’s at the end of a fork.”
He and his wife Barbee adopted a plant-based lifestyle over 12 years ago. Within six months of adopting a plant-based diet, he had lost over 30 pounds and was able to discontinue the four prescription medications he was taking. Having experienced the many positive benefits to his own health, he began promoting and advocating plant-based nutrition to his patients. Those patients were able to improve and even reverse such chronic diseases as high blood pressure, diabetes, and coronary disease.
Dr. Ted Crawford is a board-certified physician. He retired from full-time clinical practice in 2020 and now works one day a week as medical director at the Pinal County Jail clinic in Florence.
